Mr. Istre is a member of the Dallas Bar Association, and State Bar of Texas. He was an adjunct professor at the Baylor School of Law where he taught Secured Transactions. He is the author of Twenty Days Can Mean Thirty Days or More published in the Baylor Law Review in 1978.
Mr. Istre received his B.B.A. degree (major in accounting) from Baylor University, summa cum laude, in 1977. He received his law degree from Baylor University School of Law, cum laude, in 1980 where he served as Articles Editor of the Baylor Law Review. He was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1980 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Northern and Western Districts of Texas, Eastern and Western Districts of Arkansas, District of Arizona, the United States Courts of Appeal for the Fifth and Eighth Circuits, and the United States Supreme Court.
