Jason is a member of the State Bar of Texas, Dallas Association of Young Lawyers and J.L. Turner Legal Association of Dallas.
Jason received his Juris Doctor from the Texas Tech University School of Law in May of 2003. At law school, Jason was an officer of the Student Bar Association and National Association of Black Law Students. Jason received his Bachelor of Arts from Texas State University with a degree in Political Science.
Prior to joining Cowles & Thompson, Jason worked at the Collin County District Attorney's Office where he tried numerous cases. Jason has worked with the City of Dallas Community Prosecution Program, Dallas Volunteer Attorney Program and the legal board of Friendship West Baptist Church.
