Steven received his B.A. degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice from the University of Texas at Arlington in 2000, and his J.D. degree, from the University of Arkansas School of Law in 2006, where he was a national semi-finalist in the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition. Steven was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2006.
