She is a member of the State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, and Dallas Bar Association. Ms. Brewer has lectured and taught on "Wills, Trusts, and Probate" (1988-2001) and Physicians and the Law (1987, 1990, 1992).
Ms. Brewer received her B.A. degree, summa cum laude, in 1979 and her J.D. degree in 1983 from Southern Methodist University where she was a member of Phi Beta Kappa. She was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1983 and is admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas.
