Cronenwett and Meyer obtain Good Results for Our Client
Sep 1, 2006
Mark Cronenwett and Scott Meyer recently obtained a summary judgment in Federal District Court in favor of a mortgage servicing company against a plaintiff home owner. The plaintiff alleged violations of the Federal Fair Debt Collections Act, the Texas Debt Collection Act, the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act, breach of contract, negligence, loss of sale, and intentional infliction of emotional distress based on the mortgage servicers handling of his mortgage. The Court found that the Plaintiff failed to support any of his claims with sufficient evidence and that the defendants had sufficiently negated each of plaintiffs allegations on both evidentiary and legal grounds to warrant a final summary judgment in favor of defendants on all of plaintiffs claims.
