Drew Bagot elected as Fellow of Texas Bar Foundation
Dec 1, 2009
Drew Bagot was recently elected as Fellow of the Texas Bar Foundation.
"New Fellows are selected from 1/3 of 1% of the membership of the State Bar of Texas. Selection is based on an outstanding record in the legal profession as well as a commitment to support the community at large. Once nominees are selected, each nominee must be elected by the Texas Bar Foundation Board of Trustees. Membership in the Fellows is restricted to attorneys.
The Texas Bar Foundation solicits charitable contributions and provides funding to enhance the rule of law and the system of justice in Texas, especially for programs that relate to the administration of justice; ethics in the legal profession; legal assistance for the needy; the encouragement of legal research, publications and forums; and the education of the public. Since its inception in 1965, the Texas Bar Foundation has distributed well over $10 million in grants. With contributions from more than 7,500 Texas attorneys to date, it is the largest charitably-funded bar foundation in the country."
