Chuck Green and Hilaree Casada obtained a defense verdict in favor of a manufacturer of concrete pipe in a claim brought by a truck driver who was severely injured in a catastrophic  accident that occurred while unloading the pipe.  The defendant pipe manufacturer was accused of improperly loading the concrete pipe in a manner that caused the accident.   The plaintiff’s settlement demand on the eve of trial was $25,000,000.  At the end of a one week trial in State District Court in Dallas, the jury returned a verdict finding  “no negligence” on the defendant.
