Jim Cowles and Auston Cherry obtained a successful jury verdict for a Virginia law firm on a claim of malpractice in its preparation of a tax opinion, and successfully defended allegations against negligent misrepresentation, fraud and legal malpractice (negligence).  Damages sought were approximately $700,000.00.
