Mike Northrup wins interlocutory appeal of denial of temporary injunction

Mike Northrup secured a dismissal of an interlocutory appeal complaining of the denial of a temporary injunction. A property owner filed a suit seeking to enjoin her mortgage company from foreclosing on her property because of her default on the mortgage payment. The trial court denied injunctive relief and declared the property owner a vexatious litigant. The property owner filed an interlocutory appeal, after which the mortgage company foreclosed on the property. The San Antonio Court of Appeals granted the mortgage company’s motion to dismiss the appeal as moot.
