In August 2008, Grant Gaston prevailed in a workers compensation hearing on behalf of the firm's insurance company client. The Hearing Officer agreed with our position that the insurance carrier did not waive its ability to contest the claimant's entitlement to Supplemental Income Benefits (SIBs) when the designated doctor made a significant error in calculating the Impairment Rating.
