Recent Matter

Successful result on behalf of client Real Estate Property Management Company whose interests include an apartment complex affected by the 2021 Texas ice storm. A tenant had filed for relief on damages and to be released from his lease, arguing inaction on the part of our client regarding plumbing issues after the storm. However, Morgan demonstrated that the apartment management had performed due diligence in keeping tenants informed during the repair process, resulting ultimately in a judgment for our client and a no-damages, take-nothing outcome for the plaintiff.
