Cowles Thompson has a long partnership with the North Dallas Chamber of Commerce.  We are pleased to again sponsor their educational program, “Experiencing DEI Series,” which aims to shed light on issues and opportunities related to diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Understanding Unconscious Bias

The first program of the 2022-23 season is entitled, Understanding Unconscious Bias and takes place at the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum June 7th.  Attendees will gain a better understanding of unconscious bias with a trained facilitator from the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum.  The event includes a digital link to a resource tool kit as a program complement, plus lunch and a docent-led tour.

Agenda

  • 11:30AM – Registration and networking
  • Noon – Welcome, with Mary Pat Higgins, President and CEO, DHHRM
  • 12:30PM – Understanding Unconscious Bias, led by Dr. Charlotte Decoster, Ackerman Family Director of Education, DHHRM
  • 1:30PM – Docent-led tour (Complimentary pass provided for those unable to stay.)
